Your council
I was elected on to the Council in June 2009 and have lived in Baslow with my wife, Chris, for the past 30 years. We have four children.
As well as my Cabinet responsibilities I also represent the Chatsworth ward on Derbyshire Dales District Council, where I’ve been a cabinet member and where I’m currently a member of the Audit and Planning committees.
I trained as an accountant and I’m the former Managing Director and major shareholder of a medium sized manufacturing and distribution company located in Derbyshire.
I’m also a Director and Trustee of the Derbyshire Rural Communities Council, Trustee of the Baslow Sports Field Trust and Chairman of Connexions Derbyshire Limited.
