Your council
I was born in 1971 and elected on to the council in May 2005, making me Derbyshire’s youngest county councillor. I’m a member of its Improvement and Scrutiny Committee for sustainable and safe communities and sit on its Standards Committee. I also represent the authority on the Local Government Association and the Derbyshire Fire Authority and I’m a Derbyshire Dales district councillor where I'm cabinet member and chairman of the Community and Environment Policy Committee.
As well as the county council outside bodies listed below, I'm a director or committee member of the following public interest bodies: Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust, East Midlands Museum Service, Derbyshire Museums Forum, Ashbourne Gateway Youth Centre, Ashbourne Safer Neighbourhoods Steering Committee and the Ashbourne Partnership.
Below you’ll find details of how to contact me and some of the issues relating to this area. There's also the chance for you to have your say, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come.
