About Me

I was elected on to the council in May 2005 and sit on its Healthier Communities Improvement and Scrutiny Committee and Audit Committee.  I was born in the area and look forward to helping people in relation to county council services.

Below you’ll find details of when I hold my surgeries, how to contact me and some of the issues relating to this area. There’s also the chance for you to have your say, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come.

Surgery times I hold regular surgeries in different parts of the constituency to try and make it as convenient as possible for people to see me. There’s no need to make an appointment, just drop in. Have Your Say

I'm always keen to get your feedback, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come. Young people may prefer to make their voice heard through the council's b line (opens in a new window) site or magazine.

You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock.    You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question. Details of how to do this are available here.
