Your council
I was elected on to the council in 1973 and have spent most of that time involved with social services matters.
I’m currently Shadow Cabinet Member for Adult Care and sit on the authority’s Health and Adult Care Improvement and Scrutiny Committee.
I also represent the council on the Derbyshire Combined Fire Authority and I’m a partner member on the Chesterfield Royal Hospital Trust.
Locally I’m a governor on Hasland Community and Hasland Junior schools.
