About Me
I was elected on to the council in 1974 and have spent much of that time involved with social services and police matters.
I’m currently responsible for the relatively new cabinet portfolio for Adult Social Services having previously held the one for Older People and Vulnerable Adults.

Young people may prefer to make their voice heard through the council's b line (opens in a new window) site or magazine. You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock.
