About Me
I was first elected to the council in 1995 and sit on its Improvement and Scrutiny Committee for resources as well as its Standards Committee. I’ve lived in the Ashgate area for many years and I’m also currently the Leader of Chesterfield Borough Council. My main interests are in environmental and educational matters, and trying to help local residents resolve any concerns they may have relating to county council service provision.
Below you’ll find details of when I hold my surgeries, how to contact me and some of the issues relating to this area. There’s also the chance for you to have your say, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come.

| Surgery times |
I hold regular surgeries in different parts of the constituency to try and make it as convenient as possible for people to see me. There’s no need to make an appointment, just drop in. The time will vary depending how busy it gets, but I’ll be there for at least an hour. They are always advertised in the local press - or by newsheet through your door. Or see details here of how else you can get hold of me.

Have Your Say
|
I'm always keen to get your feedback, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come. Young people may prefer to make their voice heard through the council's b line (opens in a new window) site or magazine. You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question. Details of how to do this are available here.
