About Me

I was elected to the council in 2001 and became a Cabinet Support Member in 2005. I'm on the council's Regulatory Licensing and Appeals Committee and represent it on the Derbyshire Fire Authority and the Peak District National Park Authority Joint Advisory group. I'm also a governor on three local schools and represent the community on Bolsover Local Strategic Partnership Employment and Training.

Below you’ll find details of when I hold my surgeries, how to contact me and some of the issues relating to this area. There’s also the chance for you to have your say, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come.

Have Your Say

I'm always keen to get your feedback, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come. Young people may prefer to make their voice heard through the council's b line (opens in a new window) site or magazine.

You can also come along to any of our meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question. Details of how to do this are available here.
