Anne Western
I was first elected on to the council in 1997 where I'm shadow Cabinet Member for Finance and Management. I'm also a member of the council's Education and Young People Improvement and Scrutiny Committee, its Finance, Management and Regeneration Improvement and Scrutiny Committee, its Improvement and Scrutiny Management Committee, and its Investment Committee.
Locally I'm a governor at Heritage and Clowne Infant and Nursery School, on the management committee of Clowne and District Community Transport, a trustee of Barlborough Resource Centre, and Chair of the Clowne Children's Centre Local Advisory Group.
I work closely with Dennis Skinner MP, district and parish councillors and hold regular surgeries.
