Your council
I was elected on to the council in June 2009 where, as well as the above position, I’m a member of the Investment Committee and the Finance, Management and Regeneration Improvement and Scrutiny Committee.
I also represent the council on the Derbyshire Combined Fire Authority and, more locally, I’m Vice-chairman of Shipley Parish Council.

You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question.
I represent the council on a number of outside organisations or bodies
