I was elected on to the council in June 2009 where, as well as the above position, I'm a member of the Investment Committee and the Finance, Management and Regeneration Improvement and Scrutiny Committee.
I also represent the council on the Derbyshire Combined Fire Authority and, more locally, I'm Vice-chairman of Shipley Parish Council.
