Your council
In any organisation it is important to ensure financial administration procedures are in place.
At Derbyshire County Council, the director of corporate resources has overall responsibility for the management and control of all resources which includes money, property and other council assets.
The county treasurer has legal responsibilities for the financial administration of the councils' affairs. He is also responsible for determining the procedures and systems to achieve this.
School Finances are dealt with by separate regulations under Local Management of Schools(LMS)
