What are service pressures?

Service pressures are the priorities facing our services.

These service pressures arise from a wide range of sources including; new statutory requirements, increases in service demand and local priorities.

The service pressures for 2011-12 amount to:

  • Ongoing service pressures - £11.800m
  • One off service pressures - £3.155m
