I am a pensioner. Am I entitled to a reduction of my council tax bill?

If you have a low income you can get help with your Council Tax bill.

Up to one and three quarter million people over 60 could get help with their Council Tax but don't claim. You could be one of them.

If you get the guarantee credit part of Pension Credit you will get all your Council Tax paid, but you still have to claim it.
