Social care emergency - out-of-hours
We provide access to countywide social care support out of normal office hours for emergencies. 

This service can be accessed before 9am or after 5pm Monday to Friday, at weekends or bank holidays.  The service is provided by a range of staff, is for use across children and adults services and available to the public and other agencies.

Emergency planning
Emergency planning deals with a range of emergencies such as floods, chemical leaks and gas explosions through to comparatively minor incidents. During office hours, emergency planning can be contacted on 01629 538364 or email: emergency planning@derbyshire.gov.uk

Out-of-hours highway emergencies
For out-of-hours highway emergencies - before 9am or after 5pm Monday to Friday, at weekends and bank holidays - please contact the police on 0345 123 3333.

Gas leaks
For out-of-hours - before 9am or after 5pm Monday to Friday, at weekends and bank holidays - suspected gas leaks should be reported to 0800 111999.
