Financial matters

We receiving funding for our work and here we explain where the funding comes from and what our costs are.

Funding

We receive funding from three sources:

  • the partner agencies
  • the Youth Justice Board
  • from bids to a range of other funding sources.

Partner agencies provide resources to us which include:

  • seconding staff
  • cash contribution to our running costs
  • other direct support such:
    • provision of premises
    • management support
    • financial personnel services.

Staffing costs
These are the costs of staff seconded directly from our partner agencies.
Other contributions help cover:

  • the cost of managers, administration staff and staff appointed to grant-funded posts
  • contributions in kind to the running of the service.
There are about 70 people currently working for us.  We have 28 female and 42 male staff.
