Derbyshire County Council's Vehicle Test Stations do not undertake remedial repairs following an MOT failure. It is therefore our opinion, that irrespective of the final test result, be that a pass, a pass and advise (minor defects present) or a fail, members of the public can be assured that an MOT test carried out by any one of Derbyshire County Council's Vehicle Test Stations is both independent and impartial.

Everyone was courteous to me, kept me informed, explained everything, a very efficient service.

I visited County Transport today to have an MOT on my Motorhome. I was courteously met in reception by Mr Richard Bright who checked my details and arranged for the MOT check to proceed. A hot drink was offered, which I greatly accepted. Mr Pat Brown came and introduced himself and sorted out the test payment. My vehicle was treated with care and attention and thankfully passed the test. I will certainly recommend this facility to family and friends for use in the future.
