Police and Crime Commissioner election 2012

The winner of the Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner election has been announced as Alan Charles (Labour).

Derbyshire's Police and Crime Commissioner will hold the county's force to account, set the police budget and − along with the Chief Constable − decide the force's future policing strategy.
