Bolsover area Gold Card application
How to apply for your Gold Card if you live in the Bolsover area.
1. Applying in person
If you live in the District of Bolsover you can apply in person with your own photograph by visiting your local council office at the following times:
Bolsover, Sherwood Lodge - Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 12.30pm
Clowne, council office, Church Street - Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 12.30pm
Shirebrook, council office, Main Street - Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 12.30pm
South Normanton, council office, Market Street - Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 12.30pm
2. Applying at a post office
You can also apply in person with your own photograph at the following post offices:
Barlborough, Bramley Vale/Doe Lea, Blackwell, Bolsover, Clowne (Ashlea Green and Mill Street), Creswell, Glapwell, Hilcote, Langwith, Mastin Moor, New Bolsover, New Houghton, Newton, Pinxton (Slade Lane and Wharf Road), Pleasley, Shirebrook (Station Road and Recreation Road), South Normanton (Market Place and The Common), Tibshelf, Whaley Thorns, Whitwell.
Please remember that you will need to bring along a completed application form, a passport-sized photograph and your proof documents. When you apply you will be told how long your card will take, and whether it will be posted to you or when it will be available to collect.
3. Applying by post
You can also apply for a Gold Card by sending your completed application form (which you can download from the more information section below) with photocopies of your proof documents and a passport size photograph to:
