Amber Valley area Gold Card application

How to apply for your Gold Card if you live in the Amber Valley area.

1. Applying in person at a free photography session            

If you live in Amber Valley you can apply in person by visiting your local council office at the following times. You do not need to bring a photgraph and no appointment is needed:

Alfreton, Town centre office, High Street - Mon to Fri 9am to 4.30pm 
Belper, Town centre office, King Street - Mon to Fri 9am to 4.30pm
Heanor, Town centre office, Market Place - Mon to Fri 9am to 4.30pm
Ripley, Town centre office, Market Place - Mon to Fri 9am to 4.30pm

2. Applying at a post office            

You can also apply in person with your own photograph at the following post offices:

Codnor (Market Place), Crich, Duffield (Duffield News and Town Street Post Office), Kilburn (Highfield Road), Little Eaton (Alfreton Road) and Smalley (Main Road).

Please remember that you will need to bring along a completed application form, a passport-sized photograph and your proof documents. When you apply you will be told how long your card will take, and whether it will be posted to you or when it will be available to collect.

3. Applying by post             

You can also apply for a Gold Card by sending your completed application form (which you can obtain from your local council office) with photocopies of your proof documents and a passport size photograph to:
