Consumer Direct is a telephone and online service. It provides advice and support to consumers in Derbyshire.

Consumer Direct

It is supported by Councils in the East Midlands and by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).

It provides clear and practical advice which can help you to sort out your problems or arguments with suppliers of goods or services.

This service is free of charge.

More complex problems or complaints which may need further information or help are referred to Trading Standards or to other advice services.

Consumer Direct is open on:

  • Monday to Friday 8am to 6.30pm.
  • Saturday 9am to 1pm.
