Community Safety

When it is compared to other areas of the country, Derbyshire has low levels of crime. However, surveys have shown that Community Safety is still the number one priority for people who live in the county.

Our aim is to reduce crime, disorder and the fear of crime in Derbyshire. We are doing this by providing support, advice and leadership to our partners and communities.

Anti Social Behaviour Protocols

Derbyshire County Council works with its partners to tackle anti social behaviour. We have signed up to the Anti Social Behaviour Protocol agreed by the Derbyshire Partnership Forum. This sets out what partner agencies should be doing when seeking to deal with anti social behaviour.

To support the delivery of this, the County Council has its own protocol. This is for our departments to follow when dealing with anti social behaviour.

Both of the protocols are available to download below.
