Information for organisations registered on the Derbyshire Directory

Are you making the most of your Derbyshire Directory entry? Remember, your listing can contain a full page of information about your organisation. If you would like to add or amend any information on your entry please contact us.

Did you also know that your organisation could also have its own website completely free of charge through The Beehive?

The Beehive exists to help Derbyshire’s not-for-profit organisations create their own websites – and it’s very easy to do.

You do not need any special software or internet knowledge because all the tools are on The Beehive website along with simple instructions to guide you. Expert help is also at hand by telephone or email.

Completely free of charge, you could create a website for your group which may include:

  • A home page
  • Up to ten news and information pages which can include photographs of your group or reports of your activities
  • Links to other sites of your choice
  • A calendar to help you to tell the public and your own members about events or meetings
  • An address book to show the names and telephone numbers of all the key people in your organisation.

You can also enter into discussions with other local community groups using The Beehive’s bulletin boards.

Further information is available from the Beehive website (opens in a new window).
