If you’ve ever wondered what’s happening in your local community, the Derbyshire Directory is here to help you find out.

The Derbyshire Directory is a ‘one-stop shop’ of information with more than 2,600 local groups and not-for-profit services now listed, it’s providing a useful resource for local people.

You will also find regional and national contacts where a local one is not available.

The Directory is proving to be a popular area of our website. During the summer of 2008 around 1,800 new visitors logged on to search the listings.

Searching
There are three easy ways to search depending on whether you know the name of the organisation, are looking up specific category, such as disability or arts, or want to know what’s available in your town or district.

Volunteering
Many of the organisations, charities and care services listed in the Derbyshire Directory are looking for volunteers. To find out more please use the Volunteering link in the menu bar.

Registering an organisation
If you represent a voluntary group, club, society or a non-profit care service you can register here to be included in the Derbyshire Directory, completely free of charge.
