Clay Cross and Surrounding Communities 50+ Forum
Clay Cross and Surrounding Communities 50+ Forum is the latest addition to the expanding 50+ Forum network in Derbyshire.
It was born out of an initiative in March 2009 by the Well Being team with some administrative support from Rykneld Homes Ltd which is the housing management company for North East Derbyshire District Council.
Since our inauguration meeting in 2009 the Clay Cross and Surrounding Communities 50+ Forum has gone from strength to strength.
We have members in Danesmoor, Holmegate, Old and New Tupton, Wingerworth, Wessington, Grassmoor, Pilsley, North Wingfield and Shirland that enjoy coming to our open forums.
The forum provides the chance to have fun, find out what is happening both locally and nationally and have the chance to have your say on the issues that are important
Our forum is part of a network of 15 50+ forums who are also members of the Derbyshire Older Peoples Advisory Group.
Being part of this group really does give you the chance of having your voice represented on all the issues that are important to you.
Working for you
Our management committee is a group of local people all aged 50+ who are constantly working to inform and represent the views of the 50+ community.
