Bolsover Older People's Forum - Bolsover and district

Then we would like to say hello and tell you a little of what we do at the forum.
First we try to represent the ideas, views, concerns etc. of all our members; we have over 170 members so far but are very keen to increase that number by several hundreds.
You have to be over 50 years of age to participate and live in the Bolsover District (if you are not in Bolsover district make enquiries at your council offices there is sure to be a forum near you).
We are Derbyshire wide and often meet other forum members to exchange ideas and feed information on a wide range of subjects. Oh forgot to mention membership is free.
Day to day running is carried out by a band of volunteers elected from the forum at the Annual General Meeting; we organize the activities and information days with the help of our support worker Jo who is based at the Derbyshire County Offices at Matlock.
