Consumer Direct is a national telephone and online consumer advice service set up by the Government and supported by trading standards services all over the country.

If you would like clear, practical consumer advice or want to complain about a Derbyshire trader; Consumer Direct is your first point of contact (opens in a new window) .

Derbyshire Trading Standards works in partnership with Consumer Direct to try to resolve consumer issues. Consumer Direct deal with straightforward requests for advice whilst referring more complex cases to our specialist staff for further consideration.
