Foot and Mouth and Blue Tongue
Following recent cases of Foot and Mouth Disease and Blue Tongue Disease there have been restrictions on animal movements in place.
From 17 October, Foot and Mouth restrictions have been lifted around the surveillance zone in Surrey. However, the Blue Tongue Disease restrictions remain in place.

Contact an Animal Health Officer for advice on animal health matters or to make a complaint if you believe that an animal health problem exists.
Licensing
All movements of cattle, deer, sheep, goats and pigs are controlled by a general licence.
Holdings are still subject to a standstill period and bio security measures.
Failure to comply with the rules laid down in the licences may result in revocation of the general licence and/or prosecution.
