How to get involved

The Healthy Workplace Derbyshire programme is flexible and has a number of different elements that you can choose to suit your needs as an organisation.

The first step to developing a healthy workplace is to register your interest by contacting us:

email: healthyworkplaces@derbyshire.gov.uk
Tel: 01629 537021 / 01629 537662

We'll then arrange to meet with you and help you to assess your needs as an organisation.

Working together we'll draw up the key priorities for your organisation. You'll also be asked to make a commitment to working towards one or more of the healthy workplace key areas:

  • healthy eating
  • smoking cessation
  • physical activity
  • mental health and well being
  • weight management
  • alcohol and substance misuse
  • attendance management
  • health and safety

By demonstrating your commitment towards one or more of these areas you will be recognised as a Derbyshire Healthy Workplace.

By pledging your commitment to become a healthy workplace you can make a difference to the health and wellbeing of your staff and your whole organisation.

You can also gain national recognition by taking part in the National Workplace Wellbeing Charter
