Derbyshire Local Economic Assessment

The Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 places a duty on principal local authorities to prepare an assessment of the economic conditions of their area in conjunction with district authorities and other local partners.

The final Derbyshire Local Economic Assessment for 2011 provides a robust evidence base to underpin future work to shape Derbyshire's economy. This includes the work of the Derbyshire Economic Partnership (DEP), the recently formed D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership and a number of key strategic documents such as the Sustainable Community Strategy and Sub-regional Investment Plans.
