Housing Market Areas
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is the national housing and regeneration agency for England, with a national budget to support affordable housing and regeneration schemes in Housing Market Areas.We are working with the local authorities across Derbyshire to develop Local Investment Plans (LIPs), which meet locally determined priorities and create quality places for local people to live, work and play.
Investment Plans have been approved for four Housing Market Area in Derbyshire:
Peak Housing Market Area Investment Plan (opens in a new window) − covers High Peak Borough and Derbyshire Dales District.
Derby Housing Market Area Local Investment Plan (opens in a new window) - covers Derby City, South Derbyshire District and Amber Valley Borough.
North Derbyshire and Bassetlaw Housing Market Area Local Investment Plan (opens in a new window) - covers Chesterfield Borough, Bolsover, and North East Derbyshire Districts, as well as Bassetlaw.
Nottingham Core Housing Market Area Investment Plan (opens in a new window) − covers Erewash Borough alongside the districts of Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Rushcliffe and Nottingham City.
