Industrial land availability

We publish annual reports on land available for industrial use in Derbyshire.

Residential and Industrial Land Availability Reports, 2000 - 2003

Reports on residential and industrial land availability have been published annually by the Environmental Services Department, primarily for Structure Plan monitoring purposes.

Due to the introduction of new monitoring systems, there has been a delay in producing the reports, although the 2000 series has now been published. Summary reports only, for the County as a whole, will be produced for 2001, with the full District series re-introduced for 2002.

Both the Residential and Industrial Summary reports for 2001 have now been published, and the full District series for 2002 should be published by the end of 2003. Surveys for 2003 were carried out in April, and results are now available.

Copies of the 2000 Residential and Industrial Land Availability reports, which are priced at £5 (including postage and packing) for the Derby and Derbyshire Summary, and £10 for each District volume, can be obtained by contacting Tracey Frost at Derbyshire County Council on 01629 580000 ext 7590 (direct line 01629 585970). Please note that the county council only invoices for amounts over £15.

Residential land availability data can also be supplied in electronic form, based on a fixed charge of £30, plus 20p per record. A further charge, on the same basis, is made to supply digital boundary data.
