The polls have closed, votes have been counted and the results are IN!!!

The Derbyshire Youth Council 2008

The newly elected members of the Derbyshire Youth Council were gathered together for their first photo session after the results were announced at County Hall, Matlock on 2 April.

A big thank you to everyone who voted and made the Big Vote 2008 the biggest vote ever! A total of 20,818 valid votes were cast – just over 400 more than in 2006. We’ll be drawing the winner of the Alton Towers competition very soon. If you’re the lucky winner, we’ll be in touch via your school or college.
