District Children and Young People's Partnership Groups

Each area of Derbyshire has a Children and Young People's Partnership Group. The groups were previously known as Local Implementation Groups (LIGs).

The groups are made up of senior local managers representing key agencies who provide services to children and families in their district.

The groups report to the Children and Young People's Trust and undertake the following work:

  • promoting better inter-agency working in their district
  • auditing local need
  • making recommendations about improving service provision
  • monitoring local implementation of the Children and Young People's plan.
