Social care & health
Our sensory impairment services offer a service to all children who are hard of hearing. They also give support, help and advice to adults who are profoundly deaf and who are British Sign Language (BSL) users.
We work closely with health colleagues, particularly around pre-natal screening. We also link in with work undertaken by education colleagues.
Information on education and learning support services for children who are deaf and hearing impaired (opens in a new window) is also available on our website.
