Red ribbon

The Aids Resource Team covers the whole of the county.

Its key functions are training, consultation, strategic planning and policy development and offers the following services to all staff and partner organisations:

  • information on access to other agencies and resources

  • consultation for staff working with people with HIV/AIDS

  • development advice on policy and procedures

  • information packs on aspects of social work practice in relation to people with HIV/AIDS

  • monitoring social work and related activity on HIV issues

  • updates on national and government developments

  • HIV awareness training is available to staff.
