Supported Lodgings

If you think that becoming a foster carer is not right for your current circumstances then you might want to consider becoming a Supported Lodgings provider.
Our Rooms 4U scheme is managed by Derbyshire County Council and National Children's Homes (NCH) and makes available lodgings to young people leaving care.

Supported Lodgings provides a “bridge” between leaving care and becoming fully independent. Young people between 16 and 21 need some form of support and guidance from an adult they can trust.

Young people still need to learn life skills and have the opportunity to learn the practical skills needed such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and learning to manage a budget.

If you are interested in becoming a supported lodging provider contact us and we will arrange for an initial visit.
