Better Care, Higher Standards Charter Champions Role
The Charter Champions play an important role in developing the charter booklet and have several responsibilities.
- Producing and publishing a local charter every year.
- Developing a co-ordinated approach to reporting, standard setting and information sharing among the organisations involved.
- Monitor the services and standards set out in the charter.
- Ensuring that the developments, targets and strategies of their own organisation are fed into Better Care, Higher Standards.
- Working within their own organisations to develop new standards.
- Ensuring that copies of the Charter Booklet are available to all who need them, and to ensure that as many people as possible have access to a copy of the Better Care, Higher Standards Charter booklet.
