The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 became law on 1 October 2006. The main effect of the changes will be a move towards greater emphasis on fire prevention in all non-domestic premises, including the voluntary sector and self-employed people with premises separate from their homes. Fire certificates will be abolished and will cease to have legal status.
Supporting People Providers Network (SPPN) – Survey of Providers Engagement with Supporting People Administering Authorities 2007
In the summer of 2007, the newly created SPPN set out to conduct a review of current practices relating to the Supporting People Administering Authority’s engagement with providers across the region. The report sets out the approach, details the results and assesses the value of the exercise.
