Service reviews

All services funded through Supporting People have to be reviewed. Completed service reviews can be accessed by the alphabetical list.

Under guidance issued by the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) we approach the review in four stages:

Stage One - Strategic review
Assessment of strategic relevance and demand for the service.

Stage Two - Desktop review of quality and performance
Quality, performance and cost effectiveness of service.  A QAF Validation visit may need to be undertaken at this stage.

Stage Three - Further evidence/service review investigation
Further evidence sought.  This will include meetings with provider and stakeholders.

Stage Four - Outcome of a service review
Possible outcomes include:  renewal of contract and no changes, renewal of contract including changes to the contract, an agreement to remodel the service and closure of the service.
