Supporting People is a Government programme to help people to live more independently and to maintain their accommodation.

The programme provides funding for the housing related support that usually comes from support workers or wardens in housing schemes.

In April 2008 the Audit Commission carried out an inspection of the Derbyshire Supporting People Programme. A copy of the results of their inspection and their recommendations is available on this page.
