Commissioning Body

The Commissioning Body, which meets four times a year, has executive responsibility for the Supporting People Programme implementation in Derbyshire.

It also agrees the Supporting People Strategy and Annual Plans for Derbyshire, identifies and allocates Supporting People revenue resources and prioritises relevant capital bids.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been agreed between the Commissioning Body and Derbyshire County Council as the administering authority. This sets out the agreed roles and responsibilities for the implementation of the programme.
