Glossop

This new Extra Care scheme is being developed in Glossop as a partnership between Derbyshire County Council and South Yorkshire Housing Association. The scheme includes the remodelling of and extention to a former residential care home. The scheme is currently on site and will be completed in summer 2007. The scheme will provide self contained apartments plus communal facilities and will cater for older adults who require a degree of care or housing support. Flats are available for sale and rent The scheme is comprised as follows:

Mix/Tenure:

45 no self contained flats -

Of these:

12 will be for sale - six two bed flats and six one bed flats;
33 will be for rent - 13 two bed flats and 20 one bed flats;

Floor area:

One bed flats are 50.9m2
Two bed flats are 57.9m2
