Programme of activities

What will I do while I'm there?

Opening times vary, but generally you will arrive at the centre at about 10am and go home again between 1.30pm and 6pm (depending on the group you are attending). 

While you are there, we will try to offer a varied programme of therapeutic activities, exercises, discussions, planned outings, etc. 

You will be fully involved in the planning of these activities, and where necessary, staff will assist you to participate in them. 

Many of the centres are able to loan books, audiotapes and videos provided by local libraries. 

Whilst at the centre you may be able to access other services such as chiropody, hairdressing, bathing and assistance with shopping. 

Staff at the centres will also be able to advise you about other services available and may be able to refer you on to other agencies where appropriate.
