During Learning Disability Week we celebrated the work of volunteers working within the service.

Volunteering

We need to recruit more volunteers to complement the efforts of our workforce, improving the lives of people with learning disabilities in Derbyshire.

As a volunteer you will be adding real value to people's lives and helping them to become part of the community.

  • Fancy sharing your hobbies and interests?
  • Helping organise entertainments and outings?
  • Supporting people into education and sports?
  • Or giving a little support to others to volunteer themselves?
  • Or even helping people along the road towards employment?

Please let us know if you have time to spare and could 'lend a hand'.
