The board and local boards bring together all the public services in Derbyshire: the district and borough councils, NHS Trusts, adult care, housing agencies, police, education and community and voluntary organisations.
They come together to:
Valuing People Now - Making it happen in Derbyshire – the national strategy for learning disability.
Make big changes and improve the way all public and community services support people with a learning disability.
Promote the rights, independence, choice and inclusion of people with learning disabilities.
