Protection of vulnerable adults (safeguarding adults)

Are you, or is someone you know, a vulnerable adult who is being abused and needs help to stop it?

We provide information and assistance for vulnerable adults.

See the more information section to view or download the Protection of Vulnerable Adults leaflet.

You can also visit the Safer Derbyshire website for more information about staying safe.

Within the adult services area of our website you will find information on how to seek help and advice if you are experiencing domestic abuse.

You may also like to find out how we make sure children are protected.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) completed an inspection of the Safeguarding Adults and Health and Wellbeing of Older People in Derbyshire in Spring 2010. You can view the report to cabinet and the Improvement Plan (at Item 4), by following the link in the related links.
